Exams
Three midterm exams plus a comprehensive final examination.
Grades
- Will be based on the 3 lecture exams, the paper on plants and the
final exam. There will be no extra credit work to improve your grade.
- Grades will be based on a curve typical of Introductory Science
courses, i.e., approximately 15% A's, 25% B's, 40% C's, 10% D's & F's.
- There will be no make-ups without a legitimate excuse. Please see me
in advance if you can forsee a problem. Otherwise be prepared to provide
written evidence such as a note from the doctor or health center. (I have
hear a lot of excuses so it had better be good.)
- I am delighted to help you BEFORE it is too late. No appointments will be
scheduled the day before an exam. Plan ahead.
