the background. This camera is sending images wirelessly from a
"rock" to the HVO tower where there is a base station connected
to the Internet. Two computers in the field manage the timing,
picture taking and communications. 802.11 is being used to
communicate. Power is being supplied by a 12 amp-hour rechargeable
battery. Three "rocks" are used to hide the
equipment. Excel spreadsheet

The cameras are Nikon Coolpix 700 or 800 digital cameras. They take images that are 1600 x 1200 pixels and send these to the PODS server.
