Libraries

To borrow materials from Hamilton or Sinclair Library, you will need to register your student ID (acquired at the Campus Center service window). You can do this either in-person at the library or online at http://libweb.hawaii.edu/uhmlib/forms/IDReg.htm

Tutorials and workshops: The UH library system offers online tutorials on information literacy, and Hamilton Library offers occasional software and research skills workshops. Stop by the library reference desk for up-to-date information on workshop schedules.

Eileen Herring is the science reference librarian at Hamilton Library, a really nice person, and a great resource. You might like to introduce yourself to her early in the term.

http://libweb.hawaii.edu connects to the UH libraries homepage

www.hawaii.edu/sciref connects to science references and contains links to online databases and electronic journals that UH has subscriptions for. Can’t find an article? Request it via interlibrary loan (ILL) and download it from your UH library account as a pdf.

You can contact the science reference librarians at sciref@hawaii.edu
