1. Documents to be sent to UH Graduate Division are described online at:

         http://manoa.hawaii.edu/graduate/

2.  Documents to be sent to the Botany Graduate Program (see checklist - PDF document). These include copies of all documents sent to UH Graduate Division, plus additional documents.

  • Transcripts from all academic institutions (unofficial transcripts may be sent to the department, though official transcripts must be submitted with the application to UH Graduate Division-- see 1 above)
  • Statement of Objectives, including indication of having contacted one or more UH Botany faculty members to discuss potential projects
  • Curriculum Vita

      Please have the following sent:

  • Three Letters of Recommendation, at least two of which should be from academic referees (download form as PDF document)
  • Additionally, if you wish to apply for a Teaching Assistantship, please include the application form: (download form as PDF document)

     Send all documents to:

IMPORTANT: To be considered, an application must contain all of the above documents. Delays in processing and reviewing applications are often caused by late arrival of transcripts and letters of recommendation, items largely out of your control.
