Dissertation Title:
The Diffusion of Medicinal Plants: the Transfer of their Uses from Ghana to Jamaica

Research Interests:
I am interested in a post-positive approach to ethnography that provides opportunities to participating communities to become actively involved in research at all levels, providing a multidimensional platform for skill and knowledge transfer. With collaborative research and curricula development methods, ethnobotanists can help bridge the gap between anecdotal and empirical evidence that supports effective traditional health care and conservation practices.
