Personal Statement:
I am interested in marine turtles, especially the green turtle. Green turtles are one of the largest herbivores in marine ecosystems, and here in Hawaii, they feed mainly on algae. I am specifically interested in their feeding ecology and their role in the Hawaiian coral reef ecosystems.
