Dissertation Title: to be announced

Statement:

I am interested in marine algal interactions with benthic invertebrate animals as well as aspects of ecotoxicology as it pertains to marine plants. Specifically, the physiological and biochemical interactions between invasive marine macroalgae and coral and sea urchins. I am interested in applying and developing ecotoxicological methods to investigate the effects of anthropogenic disturbances and alien invasive macroalgal presence for conservation and management. I am currently developing techniques to study macroalgal interactions for the gametic, larval and juvenile stages of the coral and sea urchin life cycles.
