Thesis Title:
To be announced

Research Interests:
My research interests are tropical and temperate paleoethnobotany.

Personal Statement:
Homo sapiens continuously modify their landscapes. The island environments of remote Oceania provide a unique perspective to document such impact. The prehistoric and historic periods throughout Polynesia offer multiple areas for archaeobotanical research. An accurate evaluation of human ecology and evolution can be analyzed from macrobotanical remains; however, holistic science from emerging interdisciplinary fields is required for proper interpretations and conclusions.
