White kapa (maku’u) was applid to the Ridge.

A Ritual hula was performed on the roof. After this, the Priests had a Feast.

A Priest Cut the Thatch over Door.

This thatch represented the naval cord of House. Cutting it would essentially give birth to it.

A General Feast followed this!

Used for Drum Storage.

Located near the Outside Wall.

End of Mana

King & Priests Consulted in it.

Hale umu (Earth Oven House)

Located at the other end of Mana

Temple Fires were Kept Alive in it.

This was used for Queen’s Services.
