Relate the successes and failures of conifer somatic embryogenesis research to the work of Haberlandt and his recommendations for future research. You may also use the article by Krikorian and Berquam in your answer.

Do not deal with genetic engineering or cryopreservation as these are not central to Haberlandt’s work.
