Laboratory: See the Lab Syllabus

Course Objectives:

The emphasis of this course is on whole plant physiology, and the fundamental significance of the biochemical and molecular processes involved. The prime objective is for you to gain an understanding and appreciation of plant function, including the dynamic processes of growth, development and reproduction.

The Lecture and Laboratory are co-requisites and are taken concurrently.

Most of the Labs will be experimental. We will use a simple experimental system to learn how to conduct and analyze experiments quantitatively with the assistance of modern computers. You will learn how to write Scientific Papers and to use Microsoft Excel.
