
The Plasmalemma is pressed against the cell wall & is hard to resolve in many
pictures. This is a "glancing" section cut at an oblique angle to the surface.
The Cell Wall is seen at the top of the photo & the Plasmalemma lies just beneath it.
Microtubules are just below the Plasmalemma.

Plasmamembranes are continuous between cells via Plasmodesmata in the walls. The
plasmalemma is clearly seen in the lower left cell where it meets the cell wall.
