Photoshop LE Tutorial-32

Thumbnail Images
It is often important to create small "Thumbnail" Images. These can be linked at a later date to larger images which are displayed when you click on their Thumbnails.
This is important for the design of WebPages because images take a long time to be transmitted, especially over telephone-modem connections.
Some Webpage editors like FrontPage can automatically make linked thumbnails from large images. However, in my experience with FrontPage 98, these Thumbnails are often blurry.
Consequently,
you
may want to make your Thumbnails in Photoshop and label such
files by adding TN to their file names (i.e.
ImagexTN.jpg).
A good size for
Thumbnails is approximately 125 Pixels in Width. To do this Click Image -> Image Size.
Change the Value in the Width Box (1040) to 125 & Click OK!
