Adobe Photoshop LE Tutorial-30 ![]()

If I want an
image that is
300 Pixels Wide,
I will change
the Width from
1040 to 300.
Double Click the small box that
contains 1040,
Hit the Delete key on your Keyboard
Type 300
Click OK.
Note the
New File Size
(397K) &
Old File Size (4.65M) by looking to the right of
"Pixel Dimensions".

The new file size
has been reduced to
12% of its original size.
Also note that the Height has been automatically adjusted and that the Ratio between Height & Width has been maintained at (1.5).
To see the effects
of
this operation, Click View
-> Actual Pixels.
The screen image may shrink like the evil witch of the west. Do NOT PANIC!
Click the Maximize Button for the window that contains the image.

The image on the
right shows our
300 Pixel-Wide Image as it would
appear when viewed at 100% of
its actual screen size.
