Septoria leaf spot of ‘Ohelo (Vaccinium reticulatum)

We have described defoliating leaf spot diseases of  the shrub ‘ohelo (Vaccinium reticulatum) and the closely related tree ‘ohelo (V. calycinum) caused by apparently different species of Septoria (Gardner and Hodges, 1988).  The Septoria spp. are probably new species, but have not yet been formally described as such.
