I am interested in
how species, ecosystems and landscapes recover from perturbations,
both man-made and natural. My interests have focused on seabirds but
have ranged from schooling fish to El Niņo to forest herbs to ticks
and disease. Most recently I have become interested in
successful strategies for recovery of native ecosystems in Hawaii
and in modeling disease at the landscape level. |
