Oregon Flora Image Project
Centaurium tenuiflorum (Hoffmanns. & Link) Fritsch ex Janch.  slender centaury- exotic, naturalized
Gentianaceae

This species was recently determined to occur in the Oregon flora based on a Keck collection in Douglas Co.  The identification of the plants depicted here is tentative, pending measurements of floral features of plants from the Eugene location.  In any case, Oregon field botanists should be on the lookout for authentic material of C. tenuiflorum (see Pringle, 2010, Madrono 57:184-201 for a key and further discussion).
