Dubautia plantaginea subsp.
plantaginea x D. scabra subsp. leiophylla
Small numbers of this combination are to be expected in areas of sympatry of
the parental species. Eleven individuals of this hybrid configuration had
a mean pollen stainability of 34% and exhibited a maximum chromosome pairing
configuration of 10II + 2M4 during meiosis. Formal names
applied to this hybrid combination include Railliardia lonchophylla
Sherff, xDubautia fucosa Sherff, xDubuatia
fallax Sherff, and Railliardia kohalae Skottsb.
