D. latifolia	Artificial Hybrid	D. scabra

Two individuals of this hybrid combination had a mean pollen stainability of 78% and exhibited apparently normal chromosome pairing at meiosis (14_II).  Individuals of this hybrid served as a parents in trigenomic combinations and backcrosses, and also were crossed to produce an F₂ progeny.
