This artificial trispecific, intergeneric hybrid was produced by crossing a fertile Dubautia hybrid with Argyroxiphium grayanum. It had a pollen stainability of 39% and exhibited an apparent maximum chromosome pairing configuration of 12II + 1M4 during meiosis.
