Project 3: Building Web Pages

General Objectives

Creating web pages must become a routine activity, equivalent to using a word processor or email.  Even simple pages raise concerns about design so a basic knowledge of layout techniques is important.  There are a number of important standards, such as navigational cues, that must be included in any page.  We're aiming at building a capacity to efficiently build effective web pages.

Prerequisites

• Intermediate knowledge of word processing
• Web-page authoring software, such as FrontPage 97 or later
• A recent web browser (Netscape 4 or later or Internet Explorer 4 or later)
