| Hula Plants |
Hula and music are two very important parts of Hawaiian Culture, they have both been strongly revived in recent years. This episode is a short introduction to some plants commonly used in Hula. Several species are identified in a short walking tour of the Maui Community College campus, and then on a narrated hike on the Windward coast of Maui, along Waihee Ridge Trail (elev. 2000').
