Crops in Pacific Island Cultures
Pacific cultures developed unique collections of domesticated plants. The ways in which these plants are grown as crops centers upon swamp arboriculture and vegiculture. This episode reviews the plants grown in Pacific arboriculture and vegiculture including one of the most important families of plants used as crops in the tropical Pacific: Araceae.
