DESCRIPTION:
The structure is a frame building of single wall construction, with a stone
pad and post foundation. Stone and concrete steps "provide access to the
recessed corner oporch which is incorporated under the hip roof. One chamfered
post and two chamfered pilasters articulate the edges of the porch. The corners
of the building are finished with cornerboards. A girt
encircles the structure, and is broken by the wood frames of the double-hung
windows which project several inches from the exterior of the vertical plank
wall. The hip roof is finished with composition shingles. A porch with a shed
roof is located at the rear of the rectangular structure. The building is occupied
and in fair condition. Termite damage should he repaired. The structure should
be fumigated and painted. Vegetation should tie cleared from the base of the
building to discourage further termite and rot deterioration.
