The Botany Department does not have its own cars on Oahu. Instead, it rents them from the Campus Motor Pool. There are several department-owned vehicles on the Neighbor Islands that can be used for official visits.

Insurance
If you rent a car, you are insured with a blanket University insurance policy. Be sure to cehck with Gerry Ochikubo before you leave on your trip so that you understand the details of this program.
Accidents
Stop. Offer assistance to anyone who is ijured. Follow all the other traffic regulations. As the dust settles, get to a phone and call the department. Ask for advice and assistance.
