Symposia
There are several annual meetings in which students and faculty participate.
Plant Physiology in Hawaii Symposium
This all-meeting is sponsored by the Plant Molecular Physiology Department and consists of presented papers that are 15 minutes long, with several 50-minute invited papers. There are two awards for outstanding papers. The meeting is usually in April or May.
Tester Symposium
The focus of this two-day meeting is student presentations of their research. All biological fields are represented. A distinguished scientist is invited to give the keynote presentation. There are a number of awards. The Zoology Department sponsors this meeting which is usually held in April.
