University Athletic Complex
The University has good athletic facilties and active year-around intramural sports programs. A few of the facilities that can be used by showing your UH identification are:
- Pool: The Duke Kahanamoku Swimming Pool (on the lower campus) is a year-around facility. It is also one of the few swimming pools in the State that is heated.
- Weight Rooms: There are several weight rooms located in the Athletic Complex.
- Tennis Courts:
Ocean Swimming
A number of students regularly swim in the ocean. Favorite swimming beaches include San Souci (near the foot of Diamond Head) and Ala Moana Beach Park (across from Ala Moana Center).
