Slide Projector
The Department Office has three 35 mm slide projectors that may be taken to classrooms for use in classes and seminars. Check these out by signing the register on top of the projector cabinet. Make sure that the projector is returned promptly after its use. There is a very high demand on these machines and failing to return one promptly is likely to get someone upset. An extra bulb is kept in each projector case. If you use the spare bulb, make sure that it is replaced. Tell someone in the office that you need a new bulb. Extra carousels are available so that you can get slides in order before they are to be used. With these, too, there is a need to get them returned to the office promptly after they are used.
Overhead Projector
There is one overhead projector available for checkout in the office. St. John Auditorium (room 011) has an overhead projector permanently kept in the room so you don't need to take the department's projector for use there. Another projector is kept in the Auditorium's storeroom. You need to get the key for this room from the office if you want to use this projector.
There is one portable screen kept in the office. Most classrooms in which sldies are frequently shown already have screens. Don't move the screens mounted in the classrooms to other rooms.
