Parking

Automobiles may park in the visitor parking lots or students should purchase a parking permit through the Traffic Office. The <$Ipermits;parking>permits are obtained only through a lottery before each semester begins and cost $50 for each semester, $25 for the summer. The parking areas for permit holders are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Motorcycle & mopeds must be parked only in designated parking areas on the perimeter of the campus. Additional parking for mopeds can be found at: Snyder-Webster-Spalding complex; Andrews Amphitheatre (Diamond Head Side); Moore Hall (facing East-West Rd.); and Hamilton Library (facing Maile Way).

Bikes should be parked only where bike racks are provided. Do not secure them to railings or take them into buildings.

Loading Zone

The basement area behind StJohn is reserved for loading, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Do not park there. Violators may be towed away.

Visitor Parking

Visitors must park only in the designated visitor parking lots which are located behind the Kennedy Theater, off University Avenue, near the College of Business, near Bachman Hall and in the Lower Campus Parking Structure unless prior arrangements have been made with the Traffic Office. Parking outside of these areas will result in a citation or being towed. Tickets are purchased upon entry for $2.00 and must be displayed on the dash board of the car. The Manoa Shuttle

The Manoa Shuttle is a local bus system that provides free transportation to students who park in Manoa Valley (up near the Institute for Astronomy, Longs, and the Manoa Innovation Center). Check their home page for more information.
