Hamilton Library Map Room (HamLib Basement)

There is an extensive set of maps located in this collection. You can check them out for short-term loan (usually an hour or two) so that you can copy them.

Ecology Topographic Maps

Large sets of "quad maps" is kept in the Ecology Laboratory and CPSU. Check with Dr. Goldstein or Dr. C. W. Smith regarding their use.

EIS Botanical Surveys

Many of the Environmental Impact Statements include field surveys. A large EIS collection is used with classes. Contact Ms. Gay regarding their availability.

Commercial Map Companies

There are several large map supply companies. They have a surprisingly large number of (generally) government produced maps. Check the Yellow Pages??

Cartography Laboratory (Physical Sci 312)

The Geography Department has a cartography program. If you need a custom map produced, you might check with them. It is not free, but their fees are reasonable. Contact Dr. Wingert (x7672) or Dr. McGranaghan (x7092).
